To enable IPv6 support, make sure that the ipv6 option is set to 1:

ipv6=1

in the dpi configaration file.

Subscriber management is optimized for fixed size IPv6 networks. IPV6 subnetwork prefix size, set by default to /64, can be changed by the following setting

ipv6_subnetwork=64

Subnets with different size than the specified one in the configuration aren't so far supported simultaneousely.

The subscriber can be simultaneously assigned an arbitrary number of IPv4 addresses ("white" and "gray") and IPv6 subnets. A special simplified command semantec is provided for subscribers with one IPv4 address and one IPv6 subnet.

IPv6 support requires additional memory and CPU resources, so if your subscribers aren't provided with IPv6 addresses, then it isn't recommended to enable IPv6 support in DPI
