Development Plans for 2022

  1. Various IPv6 prefix length support (currently /64 only)
  2. Diameter protocol support (Gx, Gy, Gz interfaces)
  3. Subscriber quota management (based on PCRF)
  4. MITM mechanism implementation
  5. 5G network core support
  6. Support for EAP-SIM in WLAN networks
  7. Improving services: DDoS, Botnet, SPAM detection
  8. Improving the custom signature service
  9. Product development for corporate clients: optimization of installation and resource requirements.

Development Plans for 2021

  1. Routing. BGP, OSPF protocol support
  2. Signatures SDK and definition by SNI (HTTPS) and hostname (HTTP) as a service
  3. Configurable WEB-resources classifier
Due to the fact that Red Hat announced the early end of CentOS 8 support by the end of 2021, VAS Experts is working on a strategy to continue using CentOS as a Control Plane. Of the different options at this stage, the following are preferable:
  1. Join the initiative of the CentOS project founder Gregory Kurtzer, who intends to create a new rebuild of RHEL called Rocky Linux
  2. Migrate to CentOS 8 Stream with limited updates that are included in the official Red Hat.

The transition to the new version of the OS is planned as a regular update (without reinstallation).
We will certainly notify you of the decision made and describe it in the documentation.

  1. Migration to CentOS 8
  2. Support for DPDK technology
  3. Adding social networks detection by signature: facebook, instagram, ok.ru, vk.com
  4. Support for GTP
  5. Band management based on VLANid + IP, tunnel-id (GTP)
